Hoax websites to look out for

Hoax websites to look out for

There are many websites that dedicate themselves to giving out UFO news, but there are many more that give out fake news.

There are many websites that cover news on the mystery of UFOs. Along with the well intentioned and  legitimate UFO news presenters out there, one can also expect to see many more websites that present coverage that is faked.

At EMN we do our best to give the best and most legitimate news coverage on UFOs, and we either scour the web for credible news going around the web or produce our own coverage of written and video content. There are many sites that we have avoided in the past, but thanks to the Facebook group of Scott Browne, we have a whole list of hoax websites to avoid.

It is sometimes difficult to ascertain what is real or not when it comes to credible evidence concerning UFOs or other supernatural news. We here at EMN do our best to present authentic stories and reports but are sometimes duped by what is presented to us. The input and insight from our growing community will help us better refine the content as we progress.

Again, special thanks to Scott Browne for researching and compiling this list. While there may be a number of hoax videos seen regularly on various sites here, there may be some excellent original and authentic content as well. It is not an all or nothing scenario but certainly the increase of hoax videos has been monitored and flagged for us all to consider and evaluate. And while some of these sites may have been fooled themselves by hoax videos they have passed along, when that happens a lot it becomes suspect even if the intentions are sincere. It’s the conscious hoax for clicks that is offensive to us all and what this article is about.

Thanks for adding that one Lowell. Do you find that ALL the videos are bogus or some are actually genuine good finds? I myself have made bad judgement calls when posting videos other than my own so its a very murky water we are all trying to get clarity on. What’s your opinion?

From my experience, all UFO sites are fake, I have seen thousands of UFO’s and every time I try to video or take a pic of them, they vanish, if I, a man who was influenced by them when I met, then had dinner with them and they tried to change my destiny and failed, because of my vision from God, whom I later met as well as Jesus with witnesses. nope, they leave no evidence behind and I have never seen a real one on the web to date, and I’ve seen them all.

Absolute statements like “all UFO sites are fake” or ” I have seen thousands of UFO’s” raises a serious red flag, Corey. Without all the UFO sites over the years posting whistleblower stories, hard working journalists’ research, and experiencers like yourself reporting what they know, the topic would not be as present in the public domain as it is today. While I agree there are a lot of hoaxers out there posting sensational CGI videos just for the clicks, there are probably as many or if not more that are genuine and credible. But if ever you do manage to capture something on camera, do please consider contacting us first to post your discovery. We will be honoured to do so. Thanks for writing Corey.

Thanks for the props David. It took the members of the group and myself two years to compile this list after hours and hours of scrutinizing videos and photographs. The group is dedicated not only to exposing the hoaxers but to filming the actual phenomena and studying it. The group includes many well-known researchers and videographers who are dedicated to bringing the truth to the public.

Scott, your list is definitely a great cross-reference point for everyone to consider before deciding for themselves if the video is believable or not. Great work and we at EMN appreciate the discerning eyes of serious researchers like yourself. If ever you have anything interesting you’d like to share, EMN will be happy to present it here. Thanks again, Scott!
