Scientists Consider that We Could be Living in a Sophisticated Simulation

We may have to revise our concept of reality, because numerous prominent scientists consider that there is a chance for our world to be a refined hologram, and everything we perceive to be in fact blips of data on a cosmic screen.

Dr. Neil deGrasse Tyson is one of America’s most acclaimed evolutionary astrophysicists. He has worked in New York City as the Director of the Hayden Planetarium for two decades. He also often participates in television shows, like The Colbert Report or Real Time with Bill Maher.

Even though Dr. Tyson has made some afflicting comments on theism (and also theists) in the past years, he is not an atheist; Tyson is agnostic: he admits that he is “someone who doesn’t know” and “hasn’t really seen evidence for” [i.e., God], but “is prepared to embrace the evidence” if it will ever come to light.

Interestingly, Dr. Tyson recently made some unusual comments during the 2016 Isaac Asimov Memorial Debate at the American Museum of Natural History regarding the nature of the Universe. As stated by Dr. Tyson, “the likelihood of the universe being a simulation ‘may be very high.’” Some media organizations stated that Tyson indicated “it’s not too hard to imagine that some other creature out there is far smarter than us. Perhaps we’re just some sort of alien simulation.”

Dr. Tyson went so far as to state, “It is easy for me to imagine that everything in our lives is just the creation of some other entity for their entertainment. I’m saying, the day we learn that it is true, I will be the only one in the room saying, I’m not surprised.”

Isn’t it quite baffling what atheists and evolutionary agnostics will believe and what they will not? Dr. Tyson is a well educated scientist who appears to have absolutely no problem in imagining that aliens made our Universe simply for their pleasure. Still, apparently Tyson does not hold enough data to reach the conclusion that “God actually created the Universe for His own glory” (Psalm 19:1-4; Isaiah 43:7) “and to be inhabited by his human creation” (Isaiah 45:18), “who are made in His image” (Genesis 1:26-27).

The one thing that Dr. Tyson did imply is that everyone should freely admit based on the presented evidence: “[I]t is easy for me to imagine that everything in our lives is just the creation of some other entity” (emp. added). In truth, Creation makes sense. “For every house is built by someone, but He who built all things is God” (Hebrews 3:4, emp. added). “The heavens declare the glory of the eternal, omnipotent Creator” (Psalm 19:1). Wistfully, men just as Dr. Tyson appear so open to the idea of “super” aliens, still not to The Supernatural Creator, Who will judge our actions. (Ecclesiastes 12:13-14).

Undoubtfully, our universe seems real, but during the past years an increasing number of scientists have started to question if it is all only a refined simulation. So, are we and everything that sourounds us nothing but points of data in an infinite cosmic hologram?

A group of acclaimed scientists, along with Neil deGrasse Tyson, gathered at New York City’s American Museum of Natural History on a Tuesday night for a serious discussion of what may appear more like a sci-fi movie than our reality. Max Tegmark, a cosmologist at Massachusetts Institute of Technology; Lisa Randall, a theoretical physicist at Harvard University; Zohreh Davoudi, a theoretical physicist at MIT; David Chalmers, a professor of philosophy at New York University; and James Gates, a theoretical physicist at the University of Maryland, all joined Tyson in this gathering.

Therefore, what do you think are the chances of the universe being a compelx simulation? Tegmark believes it’s about 17 percent, and Randall said zero. In the meanwhile, Chalmers concluded that, “We’re not going to get conclusive proof that we’re not in a simulation, because any proof would be simulated.”

Whatever the case, there’s a chance that Neil deGrase and the other proponents are right, with the percentage being irellevant. After all, this rapid shift in technology provided by the 21st century is offering humanity a novel and never-before experienced perspective over life and reality.

This is a very interesting article. Earlier this year David Icke has been giving discussions on the subject of an artificial matrix that exists within the solar system propagated through the structure and energies of the planet Saturn. This means that some higher form of consciousness may have actually constructed this matrix for their own "amusement" or perhaps for even higher purposes. Icke equates Saturn energy to "Satan" by demonstrating mythological correlations throughout our human history. Knowing "something" about mythology and the Qaballah, I would say that his understanding of Saturn is somewhat of a reductionist viewpoint, but none the less, there may be more than a shred of truth to his claims. The ancients always stated that our 3D universe was Maya (illusion). It is interesting that Neil deGrasse Tyson seems to be doing an about face on his habitual skeptical humanistic world view, But this is just damage control. Clearly, a great revelation is about to occur, and all of those who have been shills for skeptical secular science and the International Humanist and Ethical Union (IHEU) seem to be scrambling for a more enlighten explanation as to how our universe really works. Just don’t expect their science to have a theistic consideration because they have literally sworn an oath against harboring such thoughts within the form of "science" that their cult propagates . I find it laughable, if not disturbing, that one of the most acclaimed scientist of our time (at least according to the media), unabashedly states that he is an Agnostic, which literally means a "non-knower." In order for our science to embrace a New World beyond the confinements of three spacial dimensions, we literally must become Gnostics or "knowers". Anyone who sincerely ascends into a higher level of consciousness beyond the Ego’s confinement, knows the realities of the spirit and the truth ingrained within our scriptural mythologies.
