Every year at ITF, the group gathers sites that have hoaxed videos or are passing around fake material and we take a hard look at what they are doing. Unfortunately most of the time it is a matter of financial gain and website traffic and this is very damaging when trying to study the actual phenomena. This list is our latest and can be used as a guide for information to avoid.

Some of these sites are not hoaxers, but enable them to do what they do by publishing and passing around their material. Some are sites that have obvious mis-identifications that are either ignored or just plain ridiculous.
