‘Random lights’ above Myrtle Beach skyline spark UFO conversation

Photos and videos showing “random lights” above hotels in Myrtle Beach have many asking “UFO?”

The time-lapse video was uploaded to a website called UFO Stalker, as well as YouTube.

The user said they were “taking pictures and time lapse of the incoming storm” and they didn’t notice the seemingly hovering lights until they went back home and checked the materials.

“I was taking the pictures off the edge of a long pier after dark, so there were no reflective surfaces around,” the user said.

The video was taken back in August, according to the site, but uploaded on Sunday, Oct. 8.

FoxNews posted an article about the lights, prompting national attention.

Myrtle Beach has had several reports of unidentified lights over the years, many of them coming as a result of flights coming out of Shaw Air Force Base in Sumter, S.C.
